The Hyatt is essentially sold out. If you would like a room at the Hyatt, please get on our waiting list, however, please note that getting a room off the waiting list is unlikely at this point. We also strongly recommend folks consider one of our two overflow hotels.
Arisia '10 will use three hotels. All functions and parties will be at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge ($123/night). The overflow hotels will be the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel ($99/night) on Memorial Drive in Cambridge near the Trader Joes and Le Meridien ($89/night) in Central Square. There will be shuttle bus service between the Hyatt and each of these two hotels.
Arisia has blocked all available rooms at the Hyatt, but please be aware that the hotel and the restaurant are still open to the general public. The following room types were available at the Hyatt: King - one king-size bed; Queen - one queen-size bed; Double - two double beds. All regular rooms are $123 per night plus 14.45% tax.
We have an Active block (noisier, but closer to parties, atrium, and elevators) and Quiet block (rooms further away from the atrium and parties), both of which are arranged to include all types of rooms. Note that due to the layout of the Hyatt, the quiet/active blocking is not done by floor.
Make reservations at the Hyatt reservation page for our event. You should receive an email with an acknowledgment and a confirmation code. Save this information.
Rooms at the Courtyard are $99 per night plus 14.45% tax. A shuttle bus will run between the two hotels.
Reservations can be made for the Courtyard by phone or online. To make a reservation by phone, call (866) 323-4159 and ask for the "Arisia" group rate, which will be $99/night.
To reserve online, you will need one of the following group codes:
We will not be doing blocking at the overflow hotel; rooms there will be intermingled with the general public. All rooms at the overflow hotel are Quiet rooms.
The Courtyard by Marriott hotel is next door to Trader Joe's and Microcenter, and a short walk from Whole Foods Market.
*Double Queens are sold out, but note that the Kings have a chair that folds out to a Twin, and can also take a cot if needed. You might also consider reserving a Double Queen at Le Meridien.
Rooms at Le Meridien are $89 per night plus 14.45% tax. All rooms in our block at Le Meridien are Double Queens (two Queen beds). A shuttle bus will run between the two hotels, with stops at the Central Square MBTA (subway/bus) stop and our overflow (free) parking lot at MIT. Parking at Le Meridien is $28 self-park, but there are cheaper nearby garages, and the free parking at MIT. More details will be available soon.
Make reservations at the Le Meridien reservation page for our event. You should receive an email with an acknowledgment and a confirmation code. Save this information.

The Hyatt has two types of handicap-accessible room. All have accessible fixtures in the bathroom. All are located in Active areas, so as to be near the elevators. Rooms with tub and hand bars are available with one Queen or two Double beds. Rooms with roll-in shower are only available with one Queen bed. If you need an accessible bathroom, please contact innkeeper@arisia.org. For other access issues, please contact hotel@arisia.org.
King and Queen rooms can have a cot added to them. Any room can have a crib or mini-fridge. There is a charge of $25 for the weekend for mini-fridges, except in case of medical necessity. Please request these through the Hotel Request Form. We will be giving the final list of requests to the hotel on December 1, so get your requests in soon!
Suites at the Hyatt are very limited and will be allocated in November. Please send mail to hotel@arisia.org by November 1 if you are interested in reserving a suite. If you can let us know how you plan to use the suite, that will be helpful with placement and also allow us to suggest alternatives in case a suite does not become available. Suites are $239 per night for 1br, or $363 per night for 2br, plus 14.45% tax. All 1br suites have King beds. All 2br suites have one King room and one Double/Double room. None of the couches in any of the suites fold out.
Suite allocation will take place around December 1.
All connecting rooms in the hotel connect from a room in one block to another room in the same block. No more than two rooms connect anywhere in the hotel. Rooms in the quiet and smoking blocks connect through a shared foyer. Rooms in the active block connect directly. Please make your reservation for two rooms, then send mail to innkeeper@arisia.org with your confirmation numbers for both rooms before December 1 to request a connecting door, subject to availability.
If you would like your reservation to be placed on a low floor, be close to the Staff Den, or be close to children services, please use the Hotel Request Form to let us know.
If the Hyatt is out of rooms, or out of rooms in the type of room you are looking for, please send mail to innkeeper@arisia.org to be added to the waiting list. In addition to the types of rooms you prefer, please let us know if this is a request for a change of room type or a request for an entirely new reservation. Please also note what nights you want the room for.
